In this updated version, players will trade either a Nidoran for the rarer one of the opposing gender. To go through with this trade, gamers will need to visit the north exit of the Underground Tunnel on Route Both options will come holding a tiny mushroom, and the male will be named Mr.
Nido and the female Ms. Similar to the above trade, players will be offered a chance to trade for Nidoran's second evolutionary form. The Nidorina will have a lonely nature while the Nidoran will have a bold, neither will come to players holding any items. To make this trade, players will want to head to the top of the building connecting Route 11 to the city and head to the upper room. This is another trade that has been slightly altered from the original games.
Depending on the version gamers are playing, they will have to evolve a different water-type Pokemon. This is the only way to acquire Lickitung in the game, making it a must for the completionist.
If they are playing LeafGreen, then they will need to trade a Slowbro for FireRed; gamers will need to trade a Golduck. For this trade, they will need to visit the upper floor of the connecting gate on Route This can be a great choice for breeding if players like to trade with other players.
The next trade involves the ice-type Pokemon Jynx who can be a great ally when taking on grass and dragon-type Pokemon. For this trade, players will simply need to catch a Poliwhirl with a fishing rod and then head into Cerulean City. Like in the original games, head into the house next to the Pokemon to start the trade. The Jynx named Zynx, will have a mild nature and come with the item fab mail. For this trade, make sure to grab an extra Spearow to store in your computer or level up at the beginning of the game.
When players get to Vermillion city, go to the trainer who offers them a Farfetch'd and trade , the level of the Pokemon will depend on the level of the Spearow that they traded.
The Farfetch'd will come with a stick, an item that will raise the critical hit chance of Farfetch'd. The Pokemon named Ch'Ding will have an adamant nature, and unlike in the original games, can be obtained without trading. Like in the original game, the Ponyta for Seel trade feels a little unfair since both creatures can be caught close to Cinnabar Island. If players still want to go through with the trade though then catch a Ponyta and then head into the laboratory.
Talk to the scientist at the table, and he will offer them the trade. The Seel will be named Seelor and won't come to gamers holding any items. In addition, this Seel will have a bold nature; this can be a great extra for taking on the gym. This trade will require trainers to capture a Pikachu and then buy a thunderstone to force it to evolve. Once they do, they will be able to trade their Raichu for an Electrode on Cinnabar Island.
Like with Ponyta, you will need to visit the lab to find the trainer. Keep in mind that players can get Electrode pretty easily in the game and that this trade may not be worth it at this point in the game.
The Electrode named Esphere will have a hasty nature and won't come to trainers holding any items. If you don't have any sleep moves, use the before mentioned plan. User Info: Nintendork You got to have a faster pokemon, that either trap it or put it to sleep before it can teleport.
